BBC Radio skär ner personalen med 15 %
Med en omorgainisation skär BBC Radio nu ner sin personal från 1.300 till 1.100 fram till 2017. Verksamheten organiseras sedan i två delar; en för popmusik och en för klassisk musik/tal- “Pop Music” and “Classical Music and Speech Output”.
BBC Radios chef Helen Boaden säger att BBC Radio is the envy of the world and our creativity is second to none … But we must also be as small as we can be, to meet our savings challenges and increase our agility in the digital world without losing our distinctiveness or damaging relationships with our many audiences.
